New hard drive Can't download software from this site?

Downloads won't finish

I hope I am in the correct place to post this.

My HD crashed last weekend and I installed a new one. After all the updates I am slowly reinstalling my software. Unfortunately, I did not archive all my Stardock games and have been attempting to download them off this site due to not being able to get the Gamestop App to work. Found out it is no longer supported Hence my attempts at downloading from here.

The download starts and seems to run fine. It gets to what my download progress says is 100% but it doesn't completely download. In my downloads file the file has .part at the end of the file name. I've waited a half hour to see if it would complete but it hasn't. I've tried with a few of the games I want to download and only one has completed while three others would not.

Any one know why or what I may be doing wrong. I've tried downloading with no other load on my internet but the same thing happens.

All help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

It could be your anti-virus app attempting to scan while the browser is finalizing the download and interfering with the process.

Thanks for the idea. Checked to see if download scans were off, they were. Looked at download link title and it has the words "protected" and "expiretime=(string of numbers)". I wonder if means I can't get them here anymore either. Found a work around for the Gamestop app but it's fairly complicated but I'll try it anyways, LOL. Dummy me should have archived the stinking files long ago. Thanks again. I'm hoping some one from Stardock sees this and offers help or an explanation. I'm going to try customer service also.

No, the links are just temporary. You can go back to the downloads page at any time and try again, it'll generate a new link.
