Hey everyone! Hey Devs! So, got the game within the last 24 hours, been smashing match after match via Match Making. Are these bots? I keep beating (by a large majority) everyone I get matched with. The game itself is great so far, The mini map needs some work - the clusters of units are just a blurr, but the building units are solid dots.It would be cool if their were maps like Sup Com and Total Annihilation where you didn't have to extend too far out to have major resources coming in, and be able to upgrade *at a large cost* the tier of the resource buildings. This game appears to be largely about map domination, and once you're down even slightly in a fight, it's a downward spiral from there. The units seem really good. I didn't realise the 2nd tier of vehicles even unlocked for the first game, until I built the advanced unit building. The game population is quite dead. So hoping this picks up My steam name is currently Souldjah (with a blue chick next to a tiger as the pic) -- add me for some games
Hey! So, global abilities - should be on the side of the screen, always. Like CNC Zero Hour/BFME 2 etc. Much handier to access. Losing your main centre results in a loss, you should be able to build more or have make them have much more defense.
I am afraid you have been pounding on the worst AI in your match making games I have given up for the time being as it is no fun playing them. Also MP games between people have crashed a lot so that is frustrating. I want some meaty MP games with several players to test how things really work in the wild but apart from one good 1v1 it hasn't really happened yet.
Hi guys,
when it comes to testing the MP mode thoroughly, count me in. I've got two friends and we've been playing RTS games for decades. We do it mainly for the MP experience and often ignore the campaign. So, what do you think? I created a steam group for organising multiplayer matches, it is called AshesMulti

Feel free to join.

well worth a try!
Count me in
edit: this should have been posted in the thread for the steam group. Dunno how it landed here, sorry
Thanks for the feedback.
Regarding economy:
There's a couple maps like Lair of the Turtle that work as you describe.
In addition, you have a multi-stage economy:
If you play as the Substrate, they get an ability called Overcharge which temporarily boosts a region by a factor of 4.
