Balance
I though the game is supposed to be about choice .... Right now to have cities bigger then 2 lvl i have to research agriculture paths, if i do not do it then i am very early stacked on city limit. It basically encourages again a total city spam.
It is very annoying if you play Magnar and when you win battles or raze cities your population grows just for a turn, and then it is a back to limit. Recently i have 130 population after razing a city and winning a battle just to have it dropped to 60 on the very next turn.
Bugs
- i want to attack a monster and click on it. I run out of movement points and finish beside a monster. I finish the turn. At the beginning of a new turn i am attacked, i win and then i appear miraculously on a tile from which monster attacked (with all my mp). If it was a lair now i have to exit it and re-enter in order to pick up an item. Very annoying.
- picking up items: a small window to pick up items has two buttons: "ok" and "equip". Equip should show me trade/shop window instead of just putting it on a hero. Since parameters of found items are not shown, when i click equip i do not know what i put on. If i want to check it or give it to someone else it requires clicking on trade/shop or equip on main screen. The best solution would be to have three buttons on pick-up window: ok, equip, and trade/shop. If you insist on having only two buttons "equip" should put you in trade/shop window by default, otherwise it is annoying ... Right now i click "ok" hoping to transfer it to my second hero or just b/c i am not sure of item's stats and then my focus moves and i have to find an army manually, click equip/trade etc.
- if you have a hero that you can recruit the tool tip should show you prize even if no unit is close to it. I HATE to come back to recruit a hero remembering kind-of that he costs 130 just to discover that he is worth 145 and i lack 5 gold and have to come back to city to sell something ... Right now i need a paper and write down all hero's cost ...
- buying/selling - 10:1 proportion between buying and selling is ridiculous. I did not yet get to late game, but i know it is hard to make money, and i cant imagine paying 1000 gold for sword, if you cannot get money from selling anymore. it is good that selling price is down, but buying should be 2 or max 3x the price.
