Okay, last campaign (and for the record, I don't want to beat this dead horse anymore, I mean, we lost, but this is just too big to pass up) John Kerry went to Vietnam, won high honors, made two (at least) tours of Duty, came back, decided the war was bad, and protested it.
You know what Dubya did? Got drunk and went to parties in the USA. Know what Dick did? Sat on his fat ass in Wyoming. Karl Rove turned these facts into advantages, and turned Kerry, who actually fought in the war, into the bad guy. Anyone who has read 1984 by George Orwell might recall Doublethink? The idea of changing the past? Hmmm............................
