This is a specific event and not a generilization. You know of a specific group of Mexicans and a target. A terrorist can be any nationality (American), any religion (Christian), and age or sex, and strike anywhere in the world at any particular group. To just say muslims are to be targeted because of a few cases would be like me pointing out of bunch of terrible things that a group of Americans or Christians have done (and lists have been compilied) and then preceding to paint all Americans/Christians with the same brush. It just doesn't work to generlize large groups of people like this, it is the product of a weak mind the can't grasp the larger picture. Anyone can be a terrorist - even people who feel they have good intentions yet still spread terror over the internet through bigotry and ignorance.

The point isn't if Moderateman is the devil or not. If you truely were a champion of equality and desired protection for all people, regardless of their religious, political, or racial beliefs, then while you disagreed with him, you'd respect it no matter what. It is about respecting PEOPLE and not about respecting their IDEAS. I am a Red-headed, Blue-Eyed, Freckle-faced, left-handed, colorblind, Mormon, Disabled, Military Retiree. I only fly a few times a year, but everytime I have flown, I have been "Randomized". I wonder how many other Red-headed, Blue-Eyed, Freckle-faced, left-handed, colorblind, Mormon, Disabled, Military Retirees get "randomized" everytime they fly? If there's a significant number of non-Muslim terrorists who have hijacked planes, then I'd love to see a list, and I'll definitely have to rethink my views, but until then, it appears that most hijackers are Muslims, and although you might want to search people in an airport who don't fit such a profile, I'd rather search the people most likely to fit that profile. If searching them is hateful, then is it hateful to search a non-Muslim woman in her fifties?

You got me, I'm the bigot not you. What facts should I be providing? Backing up my statement that Americans/Christians have done volient acts in the past and present? Why would I need to provide any facts unless you believe that Americans/Christians have never done anything wrong in their entire history. Terrorists don't just hihack planes you realize and this post isn't just about hijackers. Also although I don't sit in front of a pile of stats I am positive there have been non-Muslims that have hijacked planes before. If you NEED an instance then you really are as narrow-minded as I thought you were. How many muslims have hijacked planes in the US in the last 50 years. Three or Four? out of about a billion muslims? Your odds are really really slim.

Also, for your info, I believe different people can be inferior to others - but people are always going to be equal. you guys need to stop argueing over petty detailes and know that if racial profiling helps to stop terrorism then its good. Until a better way is submitted and aproved then it will do. Yes, some airports need reform in that area but so many other ways are put into action to stop terrorism. My dad just spent a week training to carry a gun on the airplanes as a captain for America Airlines.
