Mouse warps to bottom of screen in seemless mode with multi monitor on primary

I have an issue with my setup. My main computer (PC) is using 2 monitors with Multiple displays set to "Extend these displays". The secondary display is above the "main". Then I have a secondary laptop (Laptop 1), positioned below the primary in the Seamless grid. And then another laptop (Laptop 2) to the right of Laptop 1.

The problem is when I move my mouse between Laptop 1 and Laptop 2, the mouse always warps the bottom of the screen after crossing the border into the other laptop. It happens in both directions, going from Laptop 1 to Laptop 2 and also when going from Laptop 2 to Laptop 1.

This only happens if the secondary display on my main PC is oriented to be above the main. If they are oriented to be side-by-side, then the issue moving mouse between the 2 laptops does not occur, but for my setup I have to have my main computer's 2 displayed oriented vertically.

How can I keep the mouse at the same vertical position when moving between the 2 laptops? I keep having to move my mouse "up" every time I move from one laptop to the other, and I run out of mouse space on my desk and have to keep picking up my mouse and setting its position on my desk.

An update -

In the Seamless grid, if I right click on Laptop 2 and go into "Alignment settings...", then check the box to "Align bottom edges", then my mouse *DOES* maintain its vertical position when moving from Laptop 1 to Laptop 2. But moving back into Laptop 1, it once again warps down to the bottom of the screen.

If I change Laptop 1 alignment settings to align bottom edges, but not Laptop 2, then my mouse keeps its vertical position when moving from Laptop 2 to Laptop 1, but warps down the bottom going back the other way.

If I change both of them to align bottom edge, then it just recreates the original problem and works the same as if neither one had align bottom edges checked.

So the documentation did help then, that is good to hear:

Its very difficult to visualize complex arrangments when there are multiple PCs involved all at (no doubt) varied resolutions and scaling. We then dont know how the MP grid is laid out or the mouse path the user is employing and what is expected by following it. 

Then there on the terms used, I dont know what this means:

Changed my monitor layout. Don't have room to put my main computer's 2nd display to the side of the main, it now has to be above the main. That caused this new problem.

It didn't. The problem still exists. Nothing on the linked toubleshooting page mentions alignment at all, and in the entire documentation the "align bottom edges" option is never described. There's 1 screenshot that shows it exists but it doesn't say what it does or when or how it should be used. I just updated the tread to say that I tried that and it didn't fix the problem.

The positions are correct. Laptop 1 should not be below Laptop 2. It should be to the left, and it is.

Both laptops are displayed side by side on the same monitor that takes 4 inputs and displays each in a quadrant of the screen. They have exactly the same vertical alignment physically on the monitor. I've tried a variety of different alignment settings within multiplicity.

  1. Both laptops set to align top edges - The issue occurs in both directions, going from Laptop 1 to Laptop 2, and going from Laptop 2 to Laptop 1.
  2. Only Laptop 2 set to align bottom edges - Moving from Laptop 1 to Laptop 2 works as expected, the vertical position of the mouse is maintained, but going back the other direction from Laptop 2 to Laptop 1 the mouse again warps to the bottom of the screen.
  3. Only Laptop 1 set to align bottom edges - Moving from Laptop 2 to Laptop 1 works as expected, the vertical position of the mouse is maintained, but going back the other direction from Laptop 1 to Laptop 2 the mouse again warps to the bottom of the screen.
  4. Both laptops set to align bottom edges - Same thing happens as if both are set to align top edges, the mouse warps to the bottom of the screen whenever moving between the 2 laptops.

Not at this time.  It's a difficult test scenario for us to attempt to reproduce and may be something that is not doable for some time.

Sorry, I am very confused by this response. You guys make virtual KVM software and nobody has 2 computers and 3 monitors? How did you guys ever verify that it works with more than 2 computers before releasing it for sale?

There are other stated conditions than just '2 computers and 3 monitors', npuc85.
