Start11 opens to UPDATE, but the update is the current version.

Click it and that's confirmed.

Can't get Start 11 to show the OPEN button on Object Desktop menu when launched..

Sorry to hear you are having issues. There is known issue with ODM on some updates still saying available even after updated. I believe its been look at.
