Some desktop icons cannot be excluded from quick hide

Just installed v4.0.0.3 on new Win11 machine. Some of my desktop icons (e.g., "This PC") do not have the option to exclude them from Fences' Quick Hide. Why and how can I change this so I can exclude them from Quick Hide.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. It depend on how you make the "This PC" icons to appear on your desktop. If you use the short cut method. That one will not work. But if you use the personalization->Themes->Desktop Icon Setting->Select those icons to appear on desktop. Refer to screenshot below.

thanks. windows installed the This PC as a shortcut. Deleting it and using the personalize/themes... approach fixed it.
