I really like the Fences trial, but just before I was about to purchase it last week, I got the dreaded, "Windows Explorer closed" message and so I halted my purchase. Then a couple of days ago I upgraded some hardware on my system and thought, maybe this will fix that Fences problem and so, with fingers crossed I purchased. Yesterday.

Installed, and everything seemed to be working fine! Hurray.

Except.... not today. Message is back and when I came onto the Stardock site I see that there's now version 4 out! Dang. Does anyone know:

- does version 4 fix the "Windows Explorer" problem?

- if I bought version 3 the day before, and it only worked a few hours -- do I still have to pay a full upgrade cost to get the new version?

I think I'd feel different about the upgrade charge if it still worked today. But it's dead, and I'm more than a little miffed on this one.
