Okay, so it doesn't work.  Is there anything that we can do to get this up and running?  It worked before on my old PC.  I did change it to moving the middle row of the grid.  Yes, the secondary is to the left.

I am unable to ping the secondary PC.  When I take turn off the Windows Firewall I can ping the secondary PC.  I tried to download the file

and run this but got a 404 message--file no found.

I am not sure what AV software is or if I have it.

Does MP work with each PC firewall off?

If not, and keeping the firewalls off, what message do you get when you test the MP connection?

Thanks Sean, I wasn't aware that the support page had this info or the script.  You may also want to add something (unrelated) to the page in regard to sharing audio.  I got a new HP PC yesterday with Windows 10.  When I tried to share audio it wouldn't work.  The volume control on the secondary PC (new one) would not turn on but rather brought me to a diagnose audio problem screen.  Speaker detection was turned off and all other settings were correct.  I plugged in a headset (USB) and low and behold the audio worked to my external speakers on my primary machine.  Although the HELP page says "Some devices will not play sound unless output devices are indeed attached (power saving).  If no speakers are on the sender, plug in some earbuds to ensure it is playing and that is indeed the issue."  This should be amended as the assumption is to plug in the earbuds to make sure sound is coming out of the system.  Apparently an external device has to be detected in some manner otherwise WIndows won't allow the audio to be shared through Multiplicity.

Neither PC is connected to a VPN.

When I change the primary to the secondary is asked about deactivating the license.  I said no.  It is now a secondary.

When I go to make the secondary the primary it is asking me to enter the product key.  Is this going to mess up the number of licenses that I have by inputting that?  I have already had a hard time getting the license thing straightened out.  Do not want to have to go through any more of that.

I said "no" on the old primary, but it still worked to make it the secondary.  My question is about the secondary.  It is asking me to put in my product key like I am installing it for the first time.  I do not want it to use another license just to test, and then I have all sort of trouble with that again!

Okay, that works.  So can I make the new secondary a primary again and my new primary a secondary again?

The Multiplicity Seamless works.  Or I should say worked.  When I change it back, it no longer works.

I had turned it back on.  So I turned it off, and now Multiplicity Seamless does not work again with the Primary as primary, and the Secondary as secondary.

Should the firewall still be off on both PCs while doing the clean boot?
