My C: partition is solid state and almost full so I moved my desktop to a new partition on a non-solid-state drive on my Thinkpad. It has two drives, both solid state and conventional. Followed the instructions here:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/74971-move-location-desktop-folder-windows-10-a.html
Everything is working but now all of my desktop icons have "escaped" the fences I had and my desktop is a mess. Tried the "snapshot" option but it did not fix the issue.
Is there an easy solution for this or do I need to start all over again?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
