Sorry to hear you are having issues.
Recently I had an older PC that wanted to update Windows but wanted me to uninstall
Dream Maker/ Deskscapes first , so I did and then reinstall Deskscapes after the update
with no problem.
Then I bought a New PC a month ago started with Win10 v1803 installed my programs
including Deskscapes with no issues and as you can see still making and uploading Dreams
daily.
So what you should do first is back-up/save all your Dream files you have saved so far
to an external drive or disk/thumb drive.
you will fine all your dream files here ... C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\Dreams
Then to uninstall deskscapes use this Purge link https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling
Now get Windows updated with all the updates when that's done just reinstall Deskscapes
and reload all your dream files back to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\Dreams
and your all set and ready to go again.
