Desktop Pages Enabled still cause HDD activity

I am using Fences version 3.0.5.12 (paid) on Windows 10 Enterprise. When I move the mouse over the desktop, there is very high hard drive activity. It starts and stops as the mouse starts and stops.

This appears to have been an issue in Fences V2. Disabling Desktop Pages fixes it, but removes a feature.
