I would like to suggest an update to this forum for 'Ease of Use'.
Two years ago I made a suggestion on one of the sub-software forums for a feature request that another user also added a response too making the same suggestion that I had made. No one from Stardock ever acknowledged my suggestion which would have been appreciated, but I both understand the nature of the software business having worked in it for many years, and understood the lack of a response.
Having used this forum now off and on now for several years, and having had several ideas for improvements to Stardock products that I use and noting the disorganization contained within the forums as it pertains to this particular item., I thought it might be time for the folks at Stardock to consider a forum change that would make them more useful for both the users and the developers of Stardock products. I believe the change the suggestion I'm proposing would make these forums both more organized, and useful to users who have ideas about things that could improve the usefulness and usability of the products that Stardock makes that the developers may have not thought of initially.
My suggestion is to gather all of the current and past software suggestions currently contained throughout the rest of the forums into a single forum group called 'Software Feature Suggestions' and then subgroup the suggestions in that category by individual Stardock product names. I believe this would make the site immensely more useful to those users with ideas for a feature change to a software product, to be able go to this group and search to see if there suggestion may have already been made and if so, to add to, or enhance it with additional information.
I realize that Stardock likely gets hundreds of suggestions on their software products a year if not each month, that get no feedback whatsoever from the developers at the company due to the constraints of deadlines, etc., it's the nature of the business after all. This would also make it easier for the responsible developers to have a single point of access to see users feedback and input on software change ideas that might be implemented in future releases of the products.
But from a user's view point, I believe this change to the forums would be beneficial in the long run because based on the forum's current size the number of threads that it gets each day, that in and of itself seems most likely the reason that even good suggestions for software features get overlooked, as mine did.
