Have been playing around with 1.4 and like the changes to the government wheel and to the AI, especially how it holds up on normal even after 200 turns (it is not easy to pass it in research anymore and that is good)
Some things I would like to recommend for future updates:
- A "Select all ships" button next to planet MGMT GUI on strategic map when player would like to launch all ships. It would also streamline selection when only a selected few need to be taken out from the list
- Timeline graphs to show CIV name and logo when cursor is hovering over a line - as with many CIVS and colors it can not be distinguished anymore which CIV is actually shown
- Ranking for top CIVS on various fields on the diplomatic screen to see who is the best in what when initiating conspiracy
- Option to select targets (planets, bases and fleets) for military ally to attack + confirmation if they agree. Say I cleared a planet from defending ships and would like the AI to occupy that planet
- See military ally ship movement, where they are heading when their fleet it selected
- Auto-destruction of cultural and economic pirate bases once a CIV is destroyed (they do not seem to benefit the pirates in any way)
- Make battles around 20-25% faster on strategic map. If player select auto resolve it should not take this long to get to the result
- Show amount of strategic resources in the planet governance screen as some buildings require these to provide overview of the available amount
- Thalan Data Archive building seems useless - maybe give it a bit more buff like +3 adjacency bonus
- Increase radius of star-bases to reduce base spamming (it is logical to build as many as possible in this setup which leads to base cluttering)
- Increase maintenance of bases to reduce base-spamming
- Prevent farming of other CIVS is diplomacy by offering non-aggression, exploration and open-borders treaties in exchange for money, resource or tech. The AI should only give something for these treaties if it really NEEDS them otherwise not as all these things are actually valuable
- Fleet name is currently changing each time a new ship is added
Edit 1:
Beyond 300 turns following things could be noticed:
- A galactic event providing new anomalies rather regularly spawned all "wormhole rides" around the map (A bug maybe or just missed the description of: time-space continuum is breaking apart
- Synthetic CIVS seem to have a definitive major advantage to others when it comes to research at least when using YOR tech tree. Two AIs using that tree just left all others in the dirt
- Late game fleet composition of largest two empires seem to solely contain the same type of ship based on medium sized hull. No support or prototype ships to be found though they have a lot of resources.
Edit 1:
Please find the save game below for analysis of the above:

Additionally: Notice that the economy star bases of another CIV remain in player territory even after their planets have been culture flipped.
These bases need to be destroyed after some time - else they only produce costs for the AI with no benefits but bugging the player massively as they prevent the player from building own bases next to the planet
