I like map 3 because of the multiple ways to get around the map. Map 2 is pretty simple with the center being so open it seems like not a lot of action takes place on the outer edges because it's so out of the way to get there.
For map ideas, I want some maps where the servos feel huge and the map takes advantage of that. I had a rough idea of one where the servos have to wade chest deep through water that the ground drones can't get across, and you have to capture bloom on islands to expand your base and push forward.
I also love maps that a lot of games have that are a semi-circle with the center of the circle impassable. You can either smash your way down the short path that is an easily defensible bottleneck, or go around the long way where you have more space to maneuver and avoid their defenses.
My last map idea is to create a co-op map where the two players are separated by some obstruction. It isn't impossible for them to get to each other's base to help, just slower. Maybe there's a crevasse between the two sides so you can still shoot at things on the other side, but if you want to help then you have to go around. This way you can't have the ability to simply send all the servos to one side of the co-op base and murder all the baddies while drones and turrets hold off the other side, and then pop back over there to wipe out that side as well.
