Explorer Crash when opening certain windows applications

Hi

So far start8 has been great however I ran into a strange problem. It seems to cause explorer to crash when I search and open "windows update" or "user accounts". So far these are the only two things that will crash explorer. I can for example launch "check for updates".

Is anyone else experiencing this problem ?

I'm running windows 8.1 Pro
