<EDIT>I don't think it's actually an error with the firmware upgrade. It looks like it may have something to do with Beta M2 being installed on the non working machines, as per this thread.
If you download and replace MultiSrv.exe on both machines with this file you should be ok : https://www.dropbox.com/s/aiyl1zube2pzp7v/MultiSrv.zip
