well, I can buy into part of that, except there is no a.i. around me when this happens, no enemies, no monsters, not even bad vegetation. /shrug.
I wish I could just press turn and wate a movement, but no buttons work at all, so I can not click on him and push back or anything like that. The game is frozen, except for the galloping of the horses that my army is on at the time. It seems like the only times it does this is when it's 'skipping' through one of my cities on their way somewhere else, just as it comes out, poof, it does what it does and that's the game Alice, say goodnight Gracie.
Loading back to last save, which auto save is a blessing, is the only way to continue on with the particular game, and what ever you do, don't let the army go through those steps again or you're just going to end up rinsing and repeating what you just did.
It's just a strange bug, and apparently, I'm about the only person affected, so it might be something on my end. Perhaps I'll start 'FRAPSING' my games and seeing if I can catch it as it happens.. we'll see though.
Anyway Horsesfly, thanks for the response, perhaps others that have seen this or had it happen to them will respond as well.
