Major culture bug in new beta

there seems to be some sort of bug that allows the loyalists to spread thier culture from your planets. Note there is no superwepon involved here. As advent rebels against advent loyals randomly several of my planets started spreading thier culture. Major game breaker...

I CAN CONFIRM

 

Advent loyalists can auto spread culture from ALL planets once that research is done which is supposed to allow culture only to be spread from your planet.

 

I just played a game as advent loyalists and rushed the research (5 stars 150+ planets game), overthrown nearly every enemy planets allegience across 2 stars in under an hour.

 

Someone might wanna take a look at it...

I'm pretty sure that was in the last build too. I was playing with a friend and some of my new planets started spreading the wrong colour (this was very late game so presumably full tech tree for the AI). I didn't pay much attention to it as I plonked down some culture buildings but it was definitely happening last patch.

I don't remember ever seeing this before this new build. Its annoying enough that i think i would have noticed

I'm seeing this as well; is it only Loyalists that cause this for now? Which specific tech is the culprit?

I can confirm a Major Culture bug in Beta 2a and it's pissing me off because the AI is a cheater with this !

I also moved to an EMPTY system, took all planet and i noticed each time after i took a planet the culture spread starting to coming out of them was not mine, wtf lol...

I have try my best to fit all my planet to spread my culture but nothing have work except when i put MANY broadcast center in the same planet. Just one was not efficient to spread my culture.

I'll grant that it's annoying, but if you build a culture building on planets being affected, you'll be fine.  I noticed it as well in a game earlier today, but didn't think of it as a bug; might be a nice way to culturally harass players as Advent Loyalist.

Isnt this just that advent loyalist ability?

I guess its finally working.

No it's a bug the ability is to spread culture from the loyalists planets without the need of a broadcast center and i'm pretty sure it's new. I think they implemented this bug by fixing the update bug that their newly colonized planets didn't spread culture for the loyalist.

Not new, happened last patch even with neutral planets. The update only made it work properly for that specific case.

Noticed this myself when a dead AI killed one of my planets with his residual cultural influence.

In the last version the bug with this tech was that it didnt affect newly accuired planets but only those you had under control when you got it (i reported that)

 

And yes in this version. It do work as it should (on your side) but it does fill the whole galaxy with your culture near ANY captured planet

I just had this happen to me as well, I thought it was the opponent using a wormhole to sneak in a star base, but when i looked, all my planets were spreading his culture.

Same issue happened to me tonight. All of a sudden my homeworld started promoting enemy red Advent Loyalist culture. I lost both adjacent planets due to it and had to reload from an autosave. Putting a broadcast tower at my homeworld did stop it. However, the problem came up again when I wiped out the pirate base. Red culture was all over it and prevented me from colonizing it. I decided to eliminate red at this point and then was unable to capture any of the planets they had left behind due to culture.

Very very annoying.
