Has this been suggested?

I've tried the freeware version of Fences and today decided to get the Pro version and re-install. While I was organising my desktop I thought that it would be cool if I could have dragged my windows gadgets to a Fence. The idea of being able to combine a clock, calendar and shortcut to Outlook in a Fence is rather attractive. I know you can do something similar in ObjectDock (I have the OD2 beta), but I don't use it so much as I like the Win7 jumplists.
