Don't worry they have their own tactics (straight from Chicago) and their "level" is already limbo proof. No danger of that changing anytime soon.

Now were is your compassion for those poor politicians? If they don't let you pay for it four years before you see it, you'll know how rotten it is right away. That won't help get anyone re-elected... please get your priorities straight. 

Not much of a compromise.  They are asking to go from a bad idea, to a disfunctional wreckingball.

How do you think a rational Republican or Blue Dog should act?

IMO, a pure single payer option would be better then the strange monster they are building now.  What they got now will send a large part of our economy into a death spiral.

But that maybe the Dems plan anyways.  Allowing them to make the crisis, in order to install a single payer option in order to "save" the American Healthcare system later.

The big question is if the Democrate will still be in power to enact their plans.  My bet, that without any Republicans voting for this thing as political cover, they will be crushed politically.

Well that's pretty much what the house did under cover of night. One Republican vote for it (and he was is from a majority Democrat Louisiana district, a place where most believe the govt. owes them, and many will be safe from new personal tax hikes). We'll see if the Senate goes with the partisan agenda or the will of the majority of people.
