Here's the story:

I have this violin playing friend named Lars, who was dating this girl, Lucy for a good long while. Some of my other circle of friends really liked Lucy, others of us didn't. I personally thought that she was really prissy and arrogant and not good enough for Lars. I put up with her childish antics because I knew that he was in love. Two years later he came to his senses and kicked her to the curb. When Hardin and I started making wedding plans, we knew that we wanted him to play in the wedding.
As the guest list was being planned, the question of inviting Lucy came up. My girlfriends and I said we didn't feel like hearing how our dresses were not vera wang and how awful we lookded. With that being said, Hardin and I decided that we didn't want to put Lars or ourselves in an uncomprimising position so we decided not to invite her. He also phoned him and reassured him that it would be a Lucy free zone and we were all glad that he dumped her because we only put up with her because he was dating her.
As RSVP's were coming back I noticed that Lars had invited a guest. I called him up to find out who he was bringing so we didn't have to write guest on the meal card. he said that he was bringing Lucy. HOW WHAT WHY>!?!?!?! I was baffled. Luckily, I was able to keep my composure on the phone. As soon as I got off the phone, I told my Maid of Honor what had just happened and she couldn't believe it either.
Anyways, Lucy just imed me. she is very unhappy that she was not invited. I covered it up by stating the partial truth how we didn't want tup put Lars in a bad situation. she was still not happy with that answer.
WTF. Now i'm scared my wedding will end up on COPS or something!!
