This is my third attempt at a demigod, I think it is probably the worst out of them, and I wrote it differently than them, so that might have something to do with it. Please tell me what you think, and if you have any suggestions for abilities for him, feel free to post.
First things first, I decided to use a character from my first demigod attempt for this one. So, if you want more information on him see the first one I made, The Nomad. Also, I know that Regulus is an Angelic sort of guy, but I felt that there should be a full time angel, not one who had his wings ripped off, I will also try to make him seem different.
Name: The Fallen (Nemuzkar the Fallen)
Type: Assassin
Alignment: Dark
Appearance: Slight build. Corrupted angel, has pitch black skin, giant pale grey wings, and crimson light emanating from his eyes (think like Cable from Marvel). Wields a scythe and has long black hair and a Mesopotamian style beard with glowing strands of crimson in it, color is like the eyes. Wears grey and red armor, except for a helmet, styled after that of Mesopotamian civilizations.
Strengths: Has high maneuverability due to flying, Good area attacks
Weaknesses: Low survivability, Relies on maneuverability
Background:
Nemuzkar the Fallen walked back through his tear in the universe, he had just done to a mercenary of the Akiri Legion Coalition what had been done to him a long time ago at that decrepit temple. He remembered that the Akiri's domain encompassed the Mountain of the Archangel where Nemuzkar once served, and so he decided to reminisce about the event that led him to his current scenario.
Nemuzkar had once been one of the angels that guarded the Mountain of the Archangel, and when a strange cave formed in the nearby hills Nemuzkar was sent to survey it. Whoever was in charge of fate that day needs to be replaced for they sent the wrong angel into that cave. After wandering through the cave making mental notes about the peculiarities of it, Nemuzkar saw the ruins of what he assumed were a temple, but even though Nemuzkar had been the head historian at the Mountain of the Archangel, the design of temple was like nothing he had ever seen before. The age of the temple was also something that was bizarre for it looked like it had been around for eons, yet still retained some details on its stone work.
Nemuzkar made the fool's decision of venturing into the vast temple, he saw that walls of scrolls, books, and tablets, so vast that he doubted that he would have ever been able to read even a portion of them. Nemuzkar also saw depictions of scenes on the walls, but they looked horribly wrong, for there was faded blood on them in just the right spots, so that it still showed the same scene but in a more atrocious context. As, Nemuzkar came to the center of the what he thought was a library room, he felt a warm drop of blood land on the tip of his nose.
"What in the All-Father's name was that?" Nemuzkar muttered to himself, wiping the drop off his nose. Nemuzkar then cast his gaze to the ceiling, where he saw a demon warrior impaled upon what looked like was once a ceremonial chandelier. "What I have come across, demon-worship perhaps, or maybe something more sinister?"
Nemuzkar heard what sounded like chanting coming from deeper in the temple, fearing that it was indeed a demon worshiper he went to the source of the chanting with the greatest speed. The source of the chanting was an old man, he looked like a monk, but much more prestigious. When he turned around he looked both shocked and elated that Nemuzkar had found him, Nemuzkar guessed that it was because he knew what he was. The old man spoke, but it was in a language that sounded unlike anything Nemuzkar had ever heard of, however, Nemuzkar made out one word, Seriknak.
"You can not be of the Seriknak, they are gone, buried, wiped away by their own actions. They covered their mistake by burying themselves, along with the demons." Nemuzkar said in a tone of disbelief, for this man could not have lived that long, not even the Archangel had lived that long.
The old man chanted something, then spoke in a language Nemuzkar could understand; "I am the Sixth Sage of the Seriknak, but finally someone with the correct blood heritage, finally someone who can turn back the demons."
Before Nemuzkar could speak he was bound and kneeling upon a ritual platform, and that the sage's hand was on the back of Nemuzkar's head. The Sage then chanted a prayer, in a language that sounded more ancient and dead than anything Nemuzkar had ever imagined of hearing. The blessing caused Nemuzkar to scream out in great pain, but it was a pain that was if his body had realized that the limits it had imposed upon itself were meaningless.
Nemuzkar was no longer bound and he asked the sage, "what have you done, what sorcery is this? I thought that the Sages of the Seriknak would have learned to not perform any sort of mystical incantation. I guess that what happened in the past taught you nothing."
The sage spoke calmly; "I merely performed the blessing of the All-Father upon you. The blessing of the All-Father releases the limits upon a being with the blood of the All-Father in him, what happens depends upon how much of the All-Father's blood one has in himself. The prayer's actual words say this:
Bless the Blood
Bless the All-Father, Bless His Child
Bless the Blood
"I will teach you how to do it, perhaps you may come across someone with the All-Father's blood in the future." After the sage had taught Nemuzkar how to perform the blessing, the sage screamed and pointed at Nemuzkar screaming, "Demon! What have I done?!"
Nemuzkar looked at a nearby mirror and let out a gasp, his once white skin and light brown hair had turned pitch black, but most frightening of all was that a crimson light radiated from his eyes. Before he could ask the sage the same question the sage had asked himself, the sage charged at Nemuzkar with an axe. Nemuzkar pointed at the sage and a strong gust of wind came from his finger and sent the sage flying into a wall. Frightened by what he had just done Nemuzkar ran as quickly as he could out of the ruins of the temple.
Once outside Nemuzkar took flight, but he saw that where he flew the land beneath would burst into flames. Nemuzkar tried to return home to the sanctuary that was the Mountain of the Archangel, but when the Archangel saw him he was cast out and banished.
Nemuzkar wandered across the continent searching for shelter, but where he went was banished, and as he ran from those that would harm him, disaster followed. When Nemuzkar was forced to fly, famine soon followed for the land had been scorched. On one instance where he was cast our from a city with more force than usual, one by the name of Jaimri, by this time he was tired of years of rejection and being hunted. In anger he called down tornadoes upon it; there were almost no traces of the city after that horror. Nemuzkar was not proud of what he had done but he felt that he must obey a rule he was taught as a youngling, 'do upon others what you want done upon yourself,' he felt that he fulfilled that rule, for the denizens of the Jaimri wanted him dead, so Nemuzkar made them dead instead.
Nemuzkar later created a tear in the universe which he used to leave the realm, but he came back to it to perform the blessing upon that mercenary. Which upon remembering the event he thought that it was peculiar that the mercenary had not cried out in pain like he had done, Nemuzkar guessed that maybe the wounds the mercenary had recently received had caused pain already too much for the mercenary to notice the pain from the blessing. Thinking no more of it Nemuzkar flew, scorching the land of a place that would not notice.
