OK, let's see if I can please get some of you people OFF MY BACK.
First of all, I'm entitled to my opinion. I know full well how much sensual content is in the world. Just because a sensual magazine cover exists, doesn't mean it needs to come into my house. And BTW, I have never seen a bathing suit on a public American beach that reveals as much as the Queen of Thorns's promo art. Like it or not, the QoT is wearing miniature nipple shields, a barely-visible metal plate over her private area, and that's all. Her breasts aren't even PARTIALLY covered, just the actual nipples. And the breasts aren't even the most offensive. It's just the overall exposure, which is FAR FAR more than the "Little Mermaid."
I want to play an entertaining, well-made fantasy game. I don't want to pay $40 just to watch the QoT's breasts bouncing around. Just the fact that you're all so defensive of the QoT proves to me that you feel an attraction to the minor sexual element of the game. One of you pretty much said he would advocate full nudity in every area of life! A similar uproar arose when someone suggested removing the "mild language" (ESRB term) from the Marza dialogue in Sins of a Solar Empire.
Well I for one don't feel the need to be entertained by such things, although you obviously do.
Many of you have confirmed that the actual in-game QoT is not as prominent as the artwork would suggest, and thank you for that. I'll be trying the demo, and seeing what it's all about. If you all want to rant and rave and debate about sexuality in video games, go right ahead, but please leave my personal taste in entertainment out of it.
Finally, a gracious THANK YOU to the FEW of you who stood up for my right to have an opinion.
