1. Introduction
Welcome all, This guide is about Hrundel Lightbearer, The Torch Bearer this guide is subject to change as updates are released, and number crunching is done, Plan on working on this guide as well as my Lord Erebus guide making them as indepth as possible. Will be adding more sections such as How to play, Tips, and much more. Images are to be added as well as color to keep this guide indepth and easy on the eyes.
Will work on both guides each day revising them as needed adding more information as I test various things out.

2. Hrundel Lightbearer, The Torch Bearer Lore
In the Winter realm of the Vinlings, Hrundel Lightbearer was born to Queen Frythia Fair Frost. Messengers brought word of the birth to King Hungarling, who had been away from his hearth for seven years, adventuring with his army beyond the Northern Frontier. Returning to his kingdom, he drowned his wife in her bath and put the men of her coterie to the sword. The infant, however, was a creature of such purity and beauty that he could not bring himself to kill it, and resolved instead to raise the boy as his own.
As he grew, it became clear that Hrundel Lightbearer was not an ordinary child. His exceeding beauty was itself a sign of his strangeness, but he also showed unnatural proclivities that were seen by some in the Vinling Halls as portents of dark times. Both fire and ice seemed to obey the boy, who could make the flames of the hearth take human shape and dance around the hall or bring a snow-filled wind through his window, to settle on the floor in the shape of a pretty girl's face -- this to impress Thendrya, a particular pretty girl whom Hrundel hoped one day to make his bride.
Hrundel's father looked on him with increasing unease. Though he needed a strong successor, he sometimes wondered if he saw in the boy's eyes the first machinations of a usurper. The boy asked too many questions about his mother (about whom nothing could be related on pain of death), and demonstrated a particular curiosity in the matter of the source of his powers -- a curiosity that could only lead to doubt about his true patrimony. The Priests of the Hall, frightened by the boy's abilities, warned their king that these transgressions would bring evil upon his house if left unpunished.

4. Abilities
Rain of Ice
A Maelstrom of hail and sleet pelts the target area dealing damage and slowing attack speed for a few seconds.
20 yard range, 0.1 second cast, 14 second cool down
Mana - 500/700/900/1100
Level 1 - 200 damage, -10% attack speed for 3 seconds.
Level 2 - 400 damage, -20% attack speed for 5 seconds.
Level 3 - 600 damage, -30% attack speed for 7 seconds.
Level 4 - 800 damage, -40% attack speed for 7 seconds.
Biting Chill
Instant (Passive)
Torch Bearer's chill cuts to the bone. Enemies affected by rain of Ice have their health per second reduced by 75% for 10 seconds. This effect can be consumed by Deep Freeze for additional damage.
Deep Freeze
Torch Bearer blasts a target with intense cold. Interrupts abilities and increases target's cool down time. Lasts for a few seconds. If the target is affected by frost nova or rain of life, deep freeze consumes each effect and deals damage for each effect.
18 yard range, 0.1 second cast, 15 second cool down
Mana - 350/475/600/725
Level 1 - Increases target cool down time by 130% for 5 seconds, 100 additional damage .
Level 2 - Increases target cool down time by 160% for 6 seconds, 175 additional damage.
Level 3 - Increases target cool down time by 190% for 7 seconds, 250 additional damage.
Level 4 - Increases target cool down time by 220% for 7 seconds, 325 additional damage.
Fire and Ice
Instant (Passive)
Torch Bearer weaves his elemental powers into a cataclysmic force. Fireball's damage is increased by 300. Deep freeze deals 100 additional damage for each effect consumed.
Frost Nova
Releases a wave of frost, freezing all enemies around the Torch Bearer, stunning them. All units receive a movement speed reduction for 5 seconds.
0.9 second cast, 15 second cool down.
Mana - 750/1000/1250
Level 1 - 6 second stun, Demigods are stunned for 1 second, -10% movement speed.
Level 2 - 8 second stun, Demigods are stunned for 2 seconds, -15% movement speed.
Level 3 - 10 second stun, Demigods are stunned for 3 seconds, -20% movement speed
Permafrost
Instant (Passive)
Torch Bearer exudes an aura of extreme cold, reducing the attack speed and movement speed of nearby enemies.
Level 1 - reduces attack and movement speed of nearby enemies
Level 2 - reduces attack and movement speed of nearby enemies, increases allies mana per second.
Fireball
Hurls a fiery ball at a target dealing damage.
20 yard range, 1.0 second cast, 7 second cool down.
Mana - 300/380/460/540
Level 1 - 300 damage.
Level 2 - 525 damage.
Level 3 - 850 damage.
Level 4 - 1050 damage.
Circle of Fire
Torch Bearer conjures a circle of fire around him burning anything that stands in it.
0.8 second cast, 10 second cool down.
Mana - 450/600/700/800
Level 1 - 600 damage over 10 seconds.
Level 2 - 900 damage over 10 seconds.
Level 3 - 1200 damage over 10 seconds.
Level 4 - 1500 damage over 10 seconds.
Inspirational Flame
Instant (Passive)
Torch Bearer draws power from the flame, gaining 15% mana, and 200% mana per second.
Fire Aura
Instant (Passive)
Torch Bearer channels the energy of the flame around him, increasing the attack speed and movement speed of his allies.
Level 1 - Increases attack seed and movement speed of allies.
Level 2 - Increases attack seed and movement speed of allies, Weapon damage increased.
Fire Nova
A wave of fire radiates outward from the Torch Bearer, dealing damage and throwing smaller units into the air.
0.5 second cast, 15 second cool down.
Mana - 775/1075/1375
Level 1 - 400 damage.
Level 2 - 600 damage.
Level 3 - 800 damage.

The Torch Bearer ends his suffering and returns to his normal form. For a brief time his weapon damage is increased.

Build Explanation
This build focuses on the frost part of Torch bearer, we don't put points into the fire abilities at all. You'll remain in frost mode the entire game.
We take Rain of Ice first since this will be our farming and damaging spell. At max level it can kill just about all the 'creeps' in the wave providing easy experience and gold. As the game progressed and the enemy uses citadel upgrades and their war rank increases you'll be able to instant kill the low tier 'creeps', but you'll probably have to toss in a Deep Freeze to finish off the rest besides giants. Deep Freeze is learned to chain with Rain of Ice and Frost nova for a decent amount of additional damage and increasing the enemy Demigod's cool down times which is always useful. That way some of them can't lock you in a chain and finish you off. Permafrost is used for having a advantage in escaping, chasing, and engagements since they'll have reduced attack, and movement speed. Biting chill is for a extra sting when using Rain of Ice in case someone stacks health per second through abilities or items. Enhanced Attributes are learned primarily for the extra mana per second, mana, and health the rest are just a bonus in my opinion.

Build Explanation
This build is focused on the fire part of Torch Bearer we don't put points into the frost side and you'll be in relive the immolation throughout the duration of the match.
Fireball is learned first as a harassment utility to scare some players into retreating backward, back to base, or to use a health potion. Circle of Fire is your next damage spell, but serves as your farming spell as well. Fire Aura is learned to support those allies around you as well as increase your weapon damage. Fire Nova is used as a second farming tool and to clear the path of smaller units. Fire nova is also used as the second spell of your chain if close enough to the enemy (Circle of Fire > Fire Nova > Fireball > Auto Attack > Repeat). Inspirational Flame speaks for itself a extra 15% mana and a +200% mana per second is just to good to pass for a magic caster.

The secret with this build is to switch forms each 15 secs, That way you are able to keep both of the switch buffs on you at all times, the Ice form buff giving +75 dmg and the fire form buff giving +50% mana reg.
The weakness of the build is the fact that its a heavy hitter only and lacks the stun from frost nova or the heavy area damage of fire nova. It also lacks any of tha auras which are always helpful. It does however kick a really good punch as well as interupt/delay the spellcasts of enemy demigods with deep freeze as well as allow you to keep the switch form buffs active at all times.
Only use this build if you know what you are doing.
