I just installed an update - 1.90.033 - and the best thing about that is that at last the weather docklet is working!
Pity about the idiots at Accuweather, who give me three different locations for Stockholm:
Stockholm, Sweden (Jamtland) of course they can't, or rather won't, spell it right
Stockholm, Sweden (Stockholm)
Stockholm, Sweden (Skane) same problem with the spelling
I have searched several maps of Sweden and cannot find any other place called Stockholm than the capital city. I suppose it's possible that there may be a couple of tiny villages with that name, but I doubt it. In any case, they are clearly so small and insignificant theat they probably don't need their own weather information. What is more likely the case, is that, for Americans, Sweden is itself such a small and insignificant country that any temperature will do - they're only a bunch of backwoods yokels anyway.
As it happens today, the temperature in Stockholm, Sweden (Stockholm) is 2ºC, and in Stockholm, Sweden (Jamtland) is -12ºC, not surprising when you consider that Jämtland is probably about 400 miles from Stockholm in a northerly direction. Skåne is nearly as far away southwards. They very seldom share the same weather, particularly in winter.
I tried sending Accuweather a note about this, but they have one of those irritating sites which invite visitors to "contact" them, wait for the to compose a message, and then tell them, when they try to submit it, that there's an error, with advice to contact Technical Support, which is abck at the page you've just come from.
