For those who dont know me yet, i live in Vanuatu located near Australia in the Pacific Ocean. Life could be excellent here: coconuts, white sand beaches, sun, and tropical food in abundance (after all our meat is classified N°1 in the Asia Pacific region). Yep life at its best if it wasnt for the money we get!
I am an isurance agent in one of the leading agencies in Port Vila, the capital. I am in charge of the domestic insurance port folio and i get paid around 460 american dollars per month. I am smart, educated, and effective. But that is all i'm getting. And i shouldnt complain cuz my situation is much better than the one of a single mother of two, working as a waitress in town and getting 150 american dollars (approx.), per month. I mean i am single, and i dont have kids. But i find it already difficult to survive without the help of my parents. How do these people do? Where do they live? How do they eat? What happens when they get sick? How can they send their kids to school so they can hope for a brighter future???
We are lucky to have nature on our side that can provide us what money cant afford in terms of food. But what about clothes? Accomodation? Electricity? And others...
I will leave you think about this and you can thank God your situation is not as precarious as the ones of some people in this world of hurt.
