I know! It's not that I'm trying to convince anyone of mine, rather like you , I state how I feel, give my opinions, but it's sometimes difficult when you realise that people read the wrong thing into what you're saying.

Yes, doing some dancing last night helped! It is just so sad to think that we will never get past the color of each other skins! It is important your color, your culture, but when are we going to see each other for who we are, and not just as "that black woman" or "that white woman"? It's aggravating to see us still in this mode. Though the dialogue is good, there is just no pleasing end results to it all!

Thx Kelly! I have an inflamed muscle or ligament. The spot is tender and hopefully it is not more than that. I've gotten prescription to fill for muscle relaxant and I have to go get the Xrays done, then ti's to the specialist next week. The words, fused bones, and arthiritis were mentioned, but only to rule them out, which my doc hopes to do! But the repelling effect of this problem is neck problems and even headaches! Wow, the body goes out of wack doesn't it?!
Trying to make someone understand your p.o.v, and where you're coming from with your way of thinking is stressful! This is something many here probably find stressful as well and also hard to avoid. But if you take a moment to think about it you will see that it's not that those you are trying to make understand don't understand you, it's that many refuse to listen because their minds are made up about their opinions and refuse to accept anyone else's.
Yes, it is hard to try to make someone understand when their mind is already made up! At that time, it's rather mute! Time to call it a day!
