Hi
got ur link from comments section of my blog.
Interesting reading. Atleast much better than what i write.

I havent read ur whole blog but only 2 recent posts and what i think is that u have quite a number of misconceptions about the whole NRI thing.
Firstly, all indians are not hypocrites as u think.
Than theres nothing wrong When a mother treats her son the way u mentioned. I dont think that has anything to do with inflated egos some ppl have. Its just an attitude problem. Its really great to have such a mother.
I, myself being a NRI, can say that there are lot of indians here abroad in US or Canada who are much more narrow-minded, orthodox and hypocrite than u can ever imagine in India. Beleive me. I have seen life at both ends and its not that glamarous as it seems from far away.
Marriage is much more than just marrying a rich guy. I know these material things do matter but just dont forget the big picture.
And about ur career. First of all, decide what u wanna do with ur life or where do u see urself in next 10 years and than stick to that track. Double minded approch wont get u anywhere.
I know i am giving you a unwelcomed lecture
So whatever u decide, i wish u best of luck.
