Why did I get a mail today telling me that Sins has arrived and that I should buy & download it when
a) in fact it has arrived weeks ago and
I already bought it



I used the same e-mail when I purchased the digital copy so you should have done a cross-check, ah well, don't want to complain here. I guess you just want to make sure the whole world knows this game exists
