Okay you guys, I know politics can be consider by some as the most boring topic on earth. Yet i think its a concern for all of us to take a closer look at what the fuck our dear leaders are doing.
Well, i live in a little country in the Pacific thats in the american spotlight at the moment thanx to the stupidest show ever (AKA: Survivor). Vanuatu is one of the poorest countries in the world. It is far from being developped. Agriculture is the main activity. Coprah is the most exported product. But when you take a look at the price per ton you feel like shit! how this guys live?? Heh, i'll tell you how. Ironically, they survive just like the guys on the show. But they're more used to the environment that surrounds them, so thank God they're not as ridiculous! hehe!
What is really strange is that this country receives a lot of money from Europ Asia Australia & New Zealand being an ex Condominium (French & British) colony and of course being in the Pacific region. My question is where does the money go?? We need new infrastructures such as roads, bridges, ports & airports. And i'm not talking about the illusion of work being done they give us with their bridges that last a year b4 starting to fall apart and roads that are good the 1st month before holes start appearing like mushrooms on a wet log in autumn... We need longlasting stuff. And we need the facilities and the ability of take care of this things.
What makes me laugh is that we are such a little country & still our leaders want to waste loads of money in some cartoon army. As if we could take over the world or something. I think all the money they waste in this sector should be invested in schools and teachers. Let Australia take care our international safety. Its a headache we could just avoid so easily... What we need to progress is a new generation educated and willing to take this country to a whole new step. We have kids here that are eager to learn and go to school. These are children that want to make something of their lives but just cant because parents cant afford to pay school fees. Its a shame when you think that in those expensive schools, even the teacher lacks education!
There are heaps of things to change. But the people of Vanuatu dont know they have the power to do something & have their say. The old times when the chief decided for everybody is long gone. So get up, stand up...
