2 PCs, 3 Monitors

First I would like to apologize for my bad english.

I've got a strange situation...
I'm using 2 PCs with 3 monitors... this is the normal part
The layout is the strange part,
The 3 monitors / 2 PCs are configured like:
 [PC1-Mon1] [PC2-Mon1] [PC1-Mon2]
In display settings of PC1, I configured Monitor2(Mon2) to the left of Monitor1(Mon1)
In multiplicity, PC1 is left of PC2 (the one with the mouse and keyboard)
So, what I got is...
When I go left of PC2, I control PC1...
Going farther I'm in PC1-Mon2...
But if I go farther, I don't go back to PC2...
Is there something I would configure so I can do that?
For now I'm using synergy...
In synergy I configured: PC1 left of PC2, PC2 left of PC1, PC1 right of PC2, PC2 right of PC1, so it doesn't matter where my mouse goes, it will ever find a computer...

It's sounds like an interesting set up. For those of the community that are geeks (doesn't include me), could you post a pic of you set up?

What OS's are you running? What size monitors are you using?

I can't help with you guestion, but would be interested in seeing how people respond.

Think  you can row it out for me excatly?

Like this:

[PC1][PC2} etc


then [1-Mon 1][2-Mon1]

Because I am not 100% clear on what you are trying to do. Thanks!

I've actually have a photo of it,
Let me try...

I've got this: A notebook and a Desktop computer
The Desktop computer is connected to 2 monitors (LG 1953H,resolution on both: 1280x1024)
The notebook is connected to a Sony TV (1360x768)

So I've got something like:
[1-Mon 1][2-Mon 1][1-Mon 2]
In Display Settings of the computer (1) I have configured [1-Mon 2] to the left of [1-Mon 1].
In Multiplicity settings I configured the Computer (1) to the left of Notebook (2)
So when my cursor goes left in the notebook[2-Mon 1], I start controlling the computer[1-Mon 1]...
Farther left of it is [1-Mon 2]...
With Multiplicity it ends there...
With Synergy I could go left again, and I get back to the notebook...
And in Synergy I could choose to go right in the notebook [2-Mon 1] and start controlling the computer [1-Mon 2], and farther right of it is [1-Mon 1], and farther is the notebook again...

Just answering your questions:
The monitors in the left and in the right are 2 LG 1953H connected through DVI-D(19 inches?)
In the middle is a Sony Bravia TV (26 inches) connected through HDMI.
And actually, all 3 of them are connected to the same computer, using two video cards (GeForce 7300 GT and GeForce 8600 GTS), but I only use all 3 with the computer when the notebook is not here...
About the OS's: The notebook runs Windows Vista Home Premium. The computer runs dual-boot Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows XP Professional (and sometimes Ubuntu or Slackware Linux)

I'm back...
Not possible to use the layout I showed with Multiplicity?
And about a possible future feature, is it possible to turn on "keyboard and mouse broadcasting"?
I started to play WoW in this two PCs and I would like to have this option on Multiplicity

I just emailed stardock sales asking about a possible discount to upgrade my Multiplicity, just got a third computer

I wish we could do more. I am putting this in as a feature request but I honestly could not say if this is possible or not. Either way it is in there.

Hey Seabass,

I don't know (yet) Multiplicity Pro
but... having 3 boxes [box1] [box2] [box3] ... configured like that...
Can I say to multiplicity, if a leave box 1 by the left, to "arrive" at [box3]?
(is the something I asked, but with 3 boxes...)

You can arrange them in any order through Multiplicty. You can even set it so that if you had a set up like:

[1][2][3]

There is an option to be able to push the cusor off to the left side of the screen on [1] and have it come in the other side of [3] as if in a big loop.

The only thing that cannot be arraged through this software are the monitors. That has to be done on the individual display settings.

"Wrap around the screens when you hit the edge of the final secondary machine"

The thing you just described...
Multiplicity pro has it...
Now I have it
