Referral hell

Referrals a concept I barely understand, and one that doesn't really interest me that much if I'm completely honest. I know that they bring readers to my blog, and I know that the things I've found some of the things that people search to read my blog slightly worrying! Here are just a few of the things you can search on google to find my lovely blog.....

Fat girls blog (the first link if you search on google )

Nude grans

Hairy women 3000

These are to name just a few. I must have some pretty disappointed people click on my blog. Some others are just so much more fitting! Hehe....well it amused me! It also sums up some of the stuff I write about, I don't know who should be more worried, me or them! Hehe....

All I have is "O funky you town" as a referal from google I'm so unpopular!!! *cries*

Ya check em out by clicking on "Site information" in the upper Right bar, then going to the "see more information for this site" link Geezer... if that's not clear enough I can retype it later...

How did you find this info out Sally?


I clicked on my referals at the bottom of certain articles and that took me to the list of search engines. I clicked on the top ones, which is mostly google, and this gave me a list of what people searched to find my blog. I hope that explains it....

Here are a few of the amusing ones I found for mine:

"how do cubans dress" huh?

"sad backrounds" and yes that's how it's spelld in the referral

"fireworks and it's/theory and laws" no idea

"strange things" ok, I'll accept that one

"trucker's syndrom" wow, I didn't know we had our own syndrome.

"abnormal looking bowel movements"

"mind control groceries" is there such a thing? who the hell thought to do THAT search?

"wacky sense of humor" I accept that one too

"wankers online" HEY NOW!!!!!

I have a LOT of referrals relating to "chicken tonight" or "i feel like chicken tonight". I suspect this to be because 1) Chicken tonight is yummy and 2) The article it points to has a photo of me. I have had stalkers in the past... I would be frustrated but not surprised if I had a net-stalker or admirer from afar that I didn't know about

My main other referrals were relating to under-age extacy usage and things like that. I was really pissed off one time when I heard about some kids who went to hospital because some git supplied them dodgy E's in Adelaide, South Australia couple of months back.

Others include:

Strong Bad / Homestarrunner.com searches
Butterfingers and other aussie local band searches
"Christina Aguilera covered in mud" - what the?
"gay surfies" - and again... what THE?
"fake id"
"janet jackson super bowel pictures"
"waking up tired"
random monkey searches
"nannas who have just died in their sleep"

Altogether, a pretty interesting assortment of searches... and that's just from google.com. Some are repeated several times... I could amost guess correctly who made them as well... *ponders*

heh heh... sorry... I didnt mean to sound totally up myself (even a little bit actually) but I guess I did... my bad...

Incidently, Planet Wayne is quite interesting this time of year... it's in the twilight of the seasons with warm clear days and cool nights. Perfect weather for knocking back a few brews in the afternoon after work and maybe putting on a BBQ with some mates. Tourism is low so most are guaranteed a hassle free and unhindered stay. Just don't feed the Primatosaurus!

...as would I... along with just about all of the other pop 'princesses' But as for the gay surfies... I dont surf and I cant think of when I have used 'gay' in any of my articles so how I scored that referral I have no idea. Bit of a spin-out for me there...

I think with my last 3 articles... well, I foresee some weird referrals from those now that I think about it. Those I think its funny that for the whole "Great American Shoutout" thing, my article comes up #1 on the google search... higher than the official site, and CNN and everyone else who has anything to do with it... hehe..

I know my weird referrals are a-coming... Theophilus... hasn't Christina Aguilera already done a stint as a mud wrestler in Suburban Philly?

Mine are mostly about Australian televison shows (is steph on neighbours pregnant) etc

and I got a few for coffee and Men in skirts, looking up mens skirts and forcing men into skirts. I know what that was from I wrote an article about Nick being in the pipeband and titled it Men in Skirts.

but the most bizzare is Sugar Mummy Sex Videos (I went to the link it was called Stuff - I'm a mummy and I was talking about sugar free bread and going to a video shop) - What the??

The other big referral I got were about Mark Latham - 10 year old girls nude (eeew) Mark Lathams Bucks Night

and the $3000 baby bonus -- pretty boring really - but it's interesting that just a word - like video and mummy will come up in a search for sugar mummy sex videos

All I can say is EEEEWWWW.
