The iPod phenomenon continues to roll on, with Steve Jobs today announcing that Apple has sold over 2 million iPods since its debut, having sold 730,000 iPods in the December quarter alone. In addition, 10GB iPod has been moved up to 15GB for the same US$299 price point, and Apple has introduced a new 4 GB iPod for US$50 less, at US$249.
There were 8,560,872 mobile phones connected or in use around Australia at 30 June, 2000.
Almost seven-in-ten Queenslanders aged 18 years and over in October 2003 had use of a mobile phone, according to figures released today by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
In October 2003, an estimated 77,000 Queenslanders (4%) with the use of a mobile lived in households with no phones connected. Of these, 56% were aged 18 to 29 years.
However, the majority of Queensland adults (96%) with the use of a mobile phone, lived in households with at least one phone connection.
Of all Queensland households surveyed, approximately 95% had a phone connected in October 2003.
Most connected Queensland households (99%) had at least one phone connection able to receive standard telephone calls, even if it was used mostly for facsimile or the Internet. Approximately 82% of these households had at least one phone connection listed in the residential section of Telstra's White Pages.
There is a huge market in the portable electronics industry. In the year 200, there were 8,560,872 mobile phones connected or in use in Australia. Apple has sold over two million iPods since is debut, and world wide many more million Discmans have been sold, 37 million Game-Boy Advances have been shipped worldwide (as of June 2003), and camera phones have also become wildly popular. As hard as this may sound, you may never see him that often for a long long time. I know it might be hard to get over another guy right after you have gotten over another guy, but... I'm only saying this for your own good. A family member of mine used to have a relationship with someone 4 hours drive from here. They tried to hard to keep it going, but I do think that being that far apart from someone for that long can just break you apart.
I know it sounds like a hard thing to do (get over James) but, in your best interests you probably shouldn’t keep really liking him. But oh well, how many of us who really like someone get to go out with them? If anyone reads this and says yes – god damn, ‘envy’ x 10000.
