Ok so i was in beta for a few months. Ive always thought of the Flak fridgate as the "Anti Fridagateship" ship. After all it has almost dbl the armor and shields of the cobalt and does double dmg (cobalt does 9 (base) Flak does 19(base)
So I read the PDF manual and it says the flak is for fighters and bomber wings??
Also somting about how the flak can NOT stand up to fridgates??
Can this be true? I mean with the stats how can the flak not be the best for taking out enemy fridgates? What is the best then? Cobalt with upgrades meaby?
How many flaks do most of the beta vets build in a game? I was rlying on them as my main frontline force but after reading the manual it makes them seem like a support ship to chase bombers away from carriers...but do tht stats really support this? I mean they jus seem soooo much stronger then the cobalt...
Please what is the main purpose for the Gardia? And is it a ship to rely on as a frontline force to take out enemy fridgates? or should that be left up to the cobalts?
(now i know the corvettes have better all around stats but they take a good time longer to get and cost alot more, the gardia is availble after 2 MC's and costs about the same as a cobalt(littl more crystal) So if the flak is so supirior to the cobalt (as the stats suggest) why build cobalts at all (except for dealing with cap ships)
