Talk is cheap

and so are clothes, if you know what you are doing.

You'll know me by my maroon "Lebowski-esk" bathrobe. Maybe I will be wearing the gray dress coat. When I disrobe (pun intended), you could spy my Gay Day t-shirt or my Mickey Mouse shirt or even the Humbert Mortgage Finney town Girl's Softball t-shirt. No matter what I'm wearing, I exude a statement. All of these lovely articles are from my favorite store. The Great Will! Not Good Will, because that name does not do it justice. Next time you see me, compliment my shirt (I know you want to) and you'll get a number in response. A low number, at that. Bathrobe - free. Grey coat - $6.30. Gay Day shirt - free. Mickey shirt - $1.36. Softball shirt - $1.36.

I know you envy me. I can't blame you, really. Not that I'm conceited, just facing the facts. I am one thrifty mother fucker!

What about pants? I don't buy pants at Great Will, but I try. What about hats, shoes, electronics? No, yes, yes. You can find a good toy to play with in the Treasure Cove. There they tempt you with $20 computers, printers, scanners, and monitors. Studly-C Link bought a $3 keyboard just the other day. I bought a $1 shirt. Come on people, it can say "Baby Fucker" on it for $1 and I'll still buy it. Actually, that would be cool.

If the Great Will, or even an ordinary Good Will, isn't your style go with Plato's Closet. It's a store here, and other places in Indiana, at least. I'll describe the store as a Good Will for preppie clothes. More money than Good Will, of course. Hell, push comes to shove, go to Kohl's! Kohl's loves to sell me pants for $7-$12.

Now that you learned how to dress cheap, do it! And don't cut your hair. That costs money too. Spend all your extra cash on porno and Rally's. After all...spanking it's cool and "you gotta eat".

When I first starting teaching school, I needed dressier clothing than what I owned. I went to the Goodwill store and found a couple of very nice suits (I did have them altered a bit) for about $30 for both of them. I also got a couple pairs of slacks and a couple of sport coats. All of this for about $50.

While I now have a closet containing suits that each cost between $500 and $1200, I will never knock anyone who buys their clothes at Goodwill. What I bought there got me started when I needed it and didn't have the money to spend. I always donate my old clothing, suits, etc... to them so that maybe they will help out somebody who needs it.

thats the best part of goodwill, once you start going you end up donationing because you know SOMEONE will want it.

I used to work at a Good Will when I was younger. If clothes were there for a long time without any buyers, they'd give them to the employee's. That sucked only because the clothes that nobody wanted, were the ones that were scary. Anyways, my mom enjoyed the ladies clothes that I'd bring her home. At least some body was happy with that deal.

Goodwill is a cool place. I think people should donate more. Because there really are other people out there who will love the clothes you don't.
