November Moderator Picks

Every month, the moderation team is polled on what their favorite skin submission was from the previous month. They're asked to also give a line or two of explanation of why they liked the skin. Here are the moderator picks for November, 2007.


IR Clock - Cal Slider by RomanDA "I make an effort to watch the hours change and even stayed up until midnight to watch the day change. The collaboration of I.R. Brainiac's images and RomanDA's code makes this the new standard for clocks and calendars. A perfect 10!" - ZubaZ "Aside from the phenomenal graphics, this really shows once again some of the unique things you can do with DesktopX" -Island Dog	Ascension by kittymalone "A very creative and nice WB skin. I like especially the animated start button, window frames, start panel, shell animations.... well, the design in general. Really unique" - Quentin94 "I downloaded and tested the upload from the moderator queue, and got a wonderful surprise at how nice it was. Those animations are superb." - Erk.	Test. by CountryYokel "My mod-pick is a bit different this month. I didn't choose 'Test' by CountryYokel for beauty nor quality - not that it is lacking either though. I chose it because it's CountryYokels first upload, and doing this with his 'limitations' takes guts! And not only that - it/he was welcomed by the other users with open arms! 6 months to a year ago, this kind of upload would have been thrashed to pieces in the comments. My monthly award goes to CountryYokel for having the guts and determination to upload this creation, AND to the users of WinC. You've come a long way in making WinC a better place to be." - Snowman

PROTOZOA by Chuckeye Selected by elvee who was very impressed with the cursor pack considering it was the skinner's first attempt.	Aquart by DuoPixart "My pick is the Aquart icons by DuoPixart. APB and jalentorn have been releasing quality skins for as long as I can remember, but everytime they release something new the bar is set a notch higher. Aquart is no exception, the entire suite is simply beautiful - but the icons have a sumptuous quality you just can't quite put your finger on..." - Fuzzy Logic
