how do you name textures

can someone help me but how do you name ship textures because I made a puddle jumper model and it shows up you can rotate it and see thats its there and all you see is a white glob.I know its not my videocard because im using a 128mb 9250 ATI redon.So can someone please help me with this problem this keeps happning with ever ship I convert.

It's likely an issue with the conversion itself, then. The game doesn't care what the textures are named, so long as they're in a useable format (png or dds), they're in the right place, and there's only one used per model.
