The boys started back to school today and the baby is asleep and my house is so quiet. I have lots of work to do, but I don't want to wake the baby so obviously the only thing I *can* do is play online and eat leftover cheesy bread. Obviously.

I am hoping this year will be a good one for the boys. Xavier's teacher seemed really nice and I told him so and I told him that he should try to make a great first impression. I am hoping he will get his year off to a pleasant, productive start so he can have a successful, happy year. Last year was rough for him and I would like to see him excited about school and not feel like his teacher hates him.

He said he had a tummy ache this morning which I attributed to nerves. I hope I don't get a phone call letting me know he is in the office puking his guts up.

Orian seemed a little off his game this morning, so I hope he has a good day too. We had to register this morning since we were away during regular registration and they ONLY let you make it up and get class assignments the day school starts. I was prepared, though, and neither boy was late to class.

Only a few more months until Adrian is home. I saw all these daddies with their kids, and I am mean and thought to myself, "Soon it will be your turn, jackhole." It has been far too long since we've had a daddy in this house.

I asked Adrian for a new washer and dryer and he asked how the money situation was. I said normal. He said I could use the money I'd saved to get them. I said what money. He said no washer and dryer. I said but I need them. He said instead I have to use a washboard and clothesline. I said I have to buy those things. He said no make them. I said I have to buy supplies to make them. He said whittle them out of things around the house. D'oh!
