CursorXP won't stick after re-boot

I installed the freebie CursorXP, configured it and all was well with the world. Then I re-booted and was back to the rather drab Windows default cursor. Now I have to go into the mouse control panel and configure CursorXP each time I re-boot to get the CursorXP cursors back. Curse, Curse.

Any solutions out there?

Been a while since I used the free (been using the plus) but I seem to recall it ran at startup automatically unless 'disable all' is checked on the first tab.

ok, heres what you do, go to where cursor xp is installed and make a copy of the file used to launch the program, then take that shortcut and put it into your startup folder, c:\....documents and settings...owner...start menu...programs....startup, once you do that reboot and you will find cursor xp will be starting as you want.

or go to start > all programs > right click on 'start up' > open
right click in the folder > new > shortcut = browse to the cursorxp exe

The ole shortcut did the trick. Wonder why it is not put there during installation.

I don't know. It's not there now on my system, yet CXP runs at startup.

on xp to see a list of what starts up, click start...run and type msconfig, then click the start up tab, theres a list of items that start when windows starts

CXP shows up in both CCleaner and AceUtilites. Odd it does't show in the startup nor can I find a run at start option. Yes, I know Devs., 'disable all' will keep it from running.
