Witch hunt

I remember reading of the witch hunts in the 1600’s Witches were blamed for everything that went wrong with peoples lives. If the crops failed it was because witches or a single witch placed a curse on the land. Find the witch and kill the person to make things right with the world.

It seems that mankind has not grown up or out of superstitious thinking. When something happens that we don’t like we blame someone for it. There are conspiracy theorist that live on the belief that the trilateral commission is responsible for all the ills of the world. Another group blames a shadow government for the exact same thing. The flat Earth society still has members that hover around one million world wide. They say that the government is hiding the fact that the Earth is really flat to hide the fact that we never sent men to the moon.

Now we have global warming. It has been established that global warming is a fact of life. It was proven in the 1980’s that the Earth and everyone on it is going to die. The witch hunters came out and said we can save ourselves if we just stop polluting the planet. The problem with this is that, yes it is true that man is polluting the Earth, but what the idiots that want to save the planet don’t tell you is that man is not the biggest polluter on the planet. Of all the countries in the world America is the largest polluter because America produces so much. America is bad according to the witch hunters because of the pollution ignoring that the majority of the world eats food produced in America.

Here is the dirty little secret or as I like to put it, an inconvenient truth. The two biggest green house gases are carbon dioxide and methane. The greatest sources of carbon dioxide are forest fires and volcanoes. The largest source of methane has been discovered to be cow flatulence (farts). The other greenhouse gas that is responsible for global warming is water vapor. Notice if you please that man is not on the top four sources of green house gases. All of mankind’s pollution accounts for a temperature increase of 6/100 of a degree. The sun on the other hand is responsible for five degrees of added warmth. This is mitigated by the Earths rotation the tilt of the planet and the moon. The witch hunters want to believe that this problem can be solved with conservation and alternative power sources. On one blog a person suggests that mother earth is going to destroy us all because of our blind used or fossil fuels. Driving SUV’s burn more fuel so we should stop using them. Global warming can be traced back 4000 years but it is only now that we noticed it. 4000 years ago there were no SUV’s how is it that we had the problem this long and only since the 1960’s did man become the sole problem? Proof that global warming is so old. Ask any geologist, archeologist, or climatologist and they will tell you when asked that the Earth has been heating up since before the end of the last ice age. The Sahara went from being a lush green valley with lakes and pastures to an inhabitable desert and it happened very quickly.10,000 years ago it was a place people went to relax, a resort area was found with drawings of how life was there. The Earth is just coming out of the last ice age and the equator was still wet from ice melt water. That water evaporated and became ice in the artic circle. About the same time the American ocean was also evaporating. The American ocean you ask? All the land that we call the Midwest used to be underwater from the Adirondack mountains to the mountains on the west coast was an ocean. That is a lot of water.
The ocean is heating up. Not so much from the Sun shine but from underneath; the undersea volcanoes heat the water around them to 1000 degrees. They pump out sulfur and carbon dioxide. Green house gases. There are hundreds of them all around the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. You would think that with all the water it could not do much but it seems to be able melt ice on the poles. The witch hunters want you to think that none of this matters and only man can create or destroy, only man can solve the problem of global warming. In reality we go through cycles of ice age and global warming in roughly 22,000 years. Modern man has only been active on this planet for six to ten thousand years. Man has only been recording history for about six thousand years. We showed up at the end of the last ice age, all of our knowledge is based on our observations within that limited span. Man has not been around to see one complete cycle. Yet the superstitious witch hunters are positive only man is to blame.

I have no proof one way or the other, what I do have is scientific facts that at this point say that man is not the cause and that man can not stop or even slow down global warming.
