Tova:
Thanks.

Your family is adorable...and your little girl ain't so little! She really looks big in the arms of your youngest. |
She is a good size girl, and I'm so glad. Before I was induced a midwife felt my tummy and gave me her guesstimate on size...she said 8 lbs. 6 oz. I was shocked by how close her guess was.
Hope Adrian's visit was fun and all the other things that "are" when husbands come home. |
It was wonderful, but far too short.
Zoo:
Well congrats. Glad everything went smoothly. (heh, heh...well probably not during the labor part, eh?) |
Thanks.

I actually had some very scary complications after giving birth, but the baby is great, and I am fine now. I'm so glad Adrian was there, though.
Looks to be a good kid to me. |

LW:
Same here.
Call me if you get lonesome, although that doesn't look likely, haha. |
I may do that. I'm having a touch of the baby blues or something. I don't know if it's Adrian's leaving or the hormones or what, but this has been pretty rough.
Shovel:
now what are you gonna do now that you got the easy part done? haha, just kidding (well...kinda, , but I think you know what I mean!). |
Heh. That's no joke! She's really a sweet baby, but it's a lot to juggle. I'm really glad my mom is here now. I'm actually able to take a shower...which is a luxury most "new" moms don't have!
Glad all is safe and sound and tell her welcome to this Plane of Existence! |
Thanks.

Jill:
Congrats on the beautiful little girlie! |
Thanks!
Now you're not quite as outnumbered. Now you can no longer say "the boys and I..." |
You're right...and I'm so used to it being "the boys". What a change!
She had her 4 month checkup today and is now 16lbs 10oz! |
Congrats! Hard to believe she's already 4 months old. What a healthy little girl.
Raven:
She's beautiful. Congrats Texas! |
Thanks.

Nicky:
Congrats to you and your family. Happy days (and nights) always! |
Thank you. And surprisingly, nights aren't so bad. She wakes up to eat a few times, but we don't spend hours up with crying.
Now that I've said that, though, we'll probably have the most miserable night ever tonight!

pseudosoldier:
She's quite the little cutie. |
Thank you. I could just eat her up.
I can't imagine exactly what the Daddy is going to feel for the next seven months, but I think he'll find some solace in having been there for the birth. I know I feel very lucky that I was there to help usher both of mine into the world. |
This has been VERY VERY hard for him. I mean, it's hard for all of us, but I've never seen him as miserable as he was leaving his baby girl. He'll be busy, though, and hopefully that will get him through.
And I do know how lucky we were that he was able to be here for the birth. Many Soldiers don't have that luxury.
It is an amazing experience, isn't it?
InBloom:
Glad to hear little Isabella has finally arrived! She is a doll. |
Thanks!
Glad you and the boys enjoyed the gifts. |
It was such a nice surprise...thank you so much. It was so thoughtful of you and Chris, and I love that you included the boys.

Kelly:
What a beautiful addition to your family and a beautiful name. |
Thank you.
You look good and I am glad dad was here for the birth. I hope your mom is able to stick around for awhile and help you. |
Thanks. It was wonderful having him here. Mom is here for at least the rest of the month. I really appreciate her putting her life on hold to help me out. This is such an overwhelming experience, and it is nice to have an extra set of hands.
How was your trip? I hope you and your husband had a great time. Adrian is wanting me to save up so we can visit Kauai when he gets back.

Moderateman: I've been wondering about you. It's good to "see" you around.
congrats kid.... I see my prayers for 10 fingers, 10 toes came true HEH. |
Thanks. She is perfect. And I'm telling you...the cutest toes ever. I'll have to post pics!
Glad adrian was around to see her arrive. stay sane tex. |
Me too. Thanks.
