I hardly have time right now, but I was wondering what people thought of these latest allegations, including a deal with Price Bader of Saudi Arabia to increase oil production in October for the election.
Two others are that Bush illegally appropriated 700 million from Aftganistan to plan for Iraq; and of course that Bush was planning for an Iraq war before he took office.
Personally, I think the deal with Saudi Prince is the most serious. According to a USATODAY/CNN/GALLUP poll (online, which isn't representive) 85% of Americans believe that a deal exists and oil prices will go down in October. Also, the prince was shown the war plans before Sect. of State Powell.
In regards to the 700 million ... it probably wasn't illegal, but I'm sick and tired of people saying that the war in Iraq is a war agaist terror ... even the violence there right now isn't Al Queda, as much as Bush Inc would like you to believe. We're occupying a country of 25 million people and have been doing so for over a year. I think many people have become angry and that is the violence we're seeing. Not "imported terrorists".
This makes 5 major books detailing how Bush planned to go to war well before even 9/11. Each of those books had been mocked and rebutted by the WH until this one. Looks like they finally give in to the truth.
I don't have time to go into debate right now, but I thought we'd get this thread started.
