Where is the beta of the version 1.1?

I've tried many times, but it doesn't appear in the "Available" column of Stardock Central (before you ask, yes, I've the "Show the pre-release versions" option checked).
I've also followed the link in the post from Frogboy announcing it for this week, but I have not been able to find any beta version you may download.
What's happened?

Impatience in this case may be a good thing... It shows a genuine desire for the incredible improvements that will be made in the AI... Just reading frogboy's latest journal and I'm highly impressed with the new features....

it's better to be patient and let them sort it out properly rather than impatient and making them feel pressured into throwing it out at us unfinnished (although it will be unfinnished anyway as it would be a beta) but im sur eyou know what i mean lol, i look forward to it also though secretly

I think the past two updates were avaliable around 10pm Eastern, so I'm waiting until that time to check. I'm in a bit of a rush myself, since one again, it's probably going to come out right before i have to work...

Well, the week has yet to end, that's true, and I "acknowledge duly" that "people would [or should?] pay more attention to what the dev said".
In fact, this post arose precisely from the attention I paid to the developers' words: if you read carefully the post "BETA Version of v1.1 THIS WEEK!" from Frogboy, dated March 22, 2006 (it's still on the home page of the site), you'll find this phrase: "The Beta will be on Stardock Central so you'll need to grab that if you haven't already from the Downloads section".
Far from me the intent to criticize someone else syntax, but that "already" after two future tenses made me think the Beta was - exactly - "already" available, at least in the Downloads section (since, on top of that, the word "Downloads" was hyperlinked).
Alas, I was mistaken.
As for impatience, I don't know if it is a thing appropriate to talk about. I mean, the news was posted by the developers e they got us used to have a lot of updates...

The tensing is clearly referring to SDC

The Beta will be on Stardock Central.

Frogboy says that the beta will be on SDC, so how can he say that you have to grab it if you dont already have it from the downloads? Makes no sense...

He means that you'll have to grab Stardock Central from the Downloads section, if you don't already have it.

We usually release updates on Thursday or Friday. There will almost certainly be a news item when the beta is available. Until you see a news item or a post in this forum that says that it's available, you will have to wait patiently.

Well, you are thinking that "that" refers to the beta. But "that" was referring to Stardock Central, the only way to download the beta
