How to get into the Alpha for Clairvoyance
Today we announced a brand-new application, Clairvoyance. Clairvoyance is a new AI workspace that implements agents as "staff" who are assigned to "workspaces" on the user's local PC or Mac. Staff are presented as persistent entities that the user can interact with. When staff are added, they are given a name and the user chooses which workspace they will be in, what AI Provider they will use (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Github Copilot, etc.) and what restrictions they will have. The capabilities of AI staff depend on which provider they use as Clairvoyance exposes the unique features of each AI provider to the user in an intuitive and approachable way.
Staff members are not working as isolated "chats" but are instead trained to the bundled set of tools provided by Clairvoyance including Notes, Reports, Canvases, Exhibits and more. Staff take notes and save it locally for future reference, ensuring that they continue to become more effective over time and with new sessions.
An active Object Desktop subscription is required to access the alpha of Clairvoyance. Subscribers can download the alpha today and get started with the hosted AI solution. Additionally, if you have any of the CLI tools installed, those will be detected during installation and can be utilized by your staff.
Steps to access Clairvoyance Alpha:
- Make sure your Object Desktop subscription is active
- Visit the Clairvoyance login page
- Login with your Stardock account that is linked to your Object Desktop Subscription
- Download the application and enjoy!
If you do not have an Object Desktop Subscription, you can learn more about the suite of Windows productivity and customization tools here. If you do not want to purchase Object Desktop, you can sign-up for the beta waitlist and once the product moves to that phase, we will open it up to more users.
As a reminder, Clairvoyance is still in early and active development which means features are not fully implemented, data loss is possible, and all the other caveats that come with testing software that is in early in development.
We have been using Clairvoyance extensively internally and are excited to hear feedback from the community. If you have any feedback or features you would like to have added to the application, make sure to let us know in the Clairvoyance forums.
