Had A Wonderful Time(Eaten Some Excellent Food And Drink, Made Some New Friends), Sorry, Never got to go to that beach In Alexandria, But I Have Seen It Once Before.

The Flight Home Was A Nightmare, I Would Rather Spend A 9 Hour Flight On A Military Transport Than 5 And A Half Hours A Commercial Flight.

Being Away From My Computer For A Week (I Had A Laptop And A Wi Fi Mobile Unit, But The Net Speed Was Not Good) had an effect on me, We Always Knew Using My PC For Several Hours Every Day, Slowed My Condition Down, Right Now and since getting home, My Head Feels "Wooly"  Like I Have A Lag From A Thought To An Action Etc.. Doing Everyday Things Seems Slower, Like I am In Slow Motion.

Thankyou for those words. My Wife Calls You "Her Man In The Holy Land" After What You Did After We Lost Our Boy K, In Time I Will Forget (Not My Fault) But She Says She Will Never Forget, And Will Remind Me About A Strangers (To Her Not Me) Act Of Compassion. It Was A Light In A Very Dark Time.

She got a week in Egypt For Valentines, We Never Thought Due To My Condition That I Would Ever Go Abroad Again, I Mentioned Just Once How I Would Love To Walk Barefoot On The White Sands Of The Red Sea, By The Time I Woke The Next Day, It Was Booked And Paid, She said, Think Of It For Valentines For Her, And Maybe A Last Hooray For Me. I Took Her To The Best Sea Food Place And Had A $80 Lobster each (First Time For Me As I am Just A Grunt Ground pounder Who Used To Think T Bone Steak And Fries Was As Good As It Gets, I Bet You Have Eaten Some Wonderful Food During Your Time As An Officer S)

British Officers Get All Sorts Of Invites (Not really an invite as they Have To Attend) to Lavish Banquets And Meals Celebrating The Regiments Awards And Achievements Etc.. As A Sgt Major I Once Stood In For A 2nd LT at one of these things, Great Food with so many courses, But All That "Port , Brandy And Cigars" Thing At The End Was Never For Me, The Only Time I Have Seen Officers Openly Pissed (Drunk), Not Fitting Of Officers And Gentlemen For My Liking, Erodes Respect.
