v4.22 to v4.23 update query

I have Fences 4 v4.22 and received a notification that Fences 4 v4.23 is available.

I would like to know if this will convert Fences 4 to a subscription-based product, like later versions.

No, update a version from 4.x to a newer 4.x will not change your permanent license to subscription base.
