Multiplicity strange behavior remote connection to laptop via KVM

When I connect to my laptop that has dual screens the only screen that shows in Multiplicity is the second screen and it seems like it caches the image being displayed and is slow to refresh. I can't click anything on the second screen either or toggle to the first screen. Anything I click on or move the mouse cursor to on the second screen only impacts the first screen (which again is not being displayed in Multiplicity).

How is the second one connected?  If you disconnect it and KVM to it, does it work?

I can't click anything on the second screen either or toggle to the first screen

You mean with this option you cant?

Hi thank you for the response.

Let me try to clarify. I have a work PC connected to a Samsung TV. I also have my laptop connected to the same Samsung TV. So the laptop has the built in screen and the Samsung TV is the second screen. What I am trying to do is to switch to KVM mode where I use my laptop monitor and my Samsung TV as the second monitor without having to switch the input on the TV. 

When I click the button "Switch between any additional monitors the remote computer has" nothing happens it always displays a cached image of what was on the 2nd monitor. When I try and move the mouse or click anywhere on the second monitor, I see the mouse cursor moving and clicking on the primary screen instead.

Well, that could be the problem, that you have two different PCs connected to the same monitor.

As a test, try just connecting the TV to the Secondary.
