I've been giving a lot of thought to artificial intelligence as we see it today. With past and present video games, we are used to learning a programmed algorithm and finding those weak spots to exploit. But what about an AI that is actively learning from the decisions you are making. Are we ready for something like that in an RTS game?
I love the idea of something like OpenAI being leveraged in a good RTS game. I think it would be awesome to see what kind of strategies it would come up with by watching and playing against other players online. A man can dream.
